Nigel and Dayna are a happily married couple with two children when they encounter a nightmare scenario: their youngest, Emily, experiences a severe seizure. After she's rushed to the hospital and stabilized, a doctor concludes her episode could have only been the result of Shaken Baby Syndrome. After Nigel is accused of shaking Emily, both children are temporarily separated from their parents, and Nigel and Dayna fight the justice system and the medical establishment to right an egregious wrong.
